ALLEN
Oscar Roger Allen, born May 15, 1935, died
suddenly March 30, 2005. He was preceded in death by
his daughter Joanna Marie Allen, father Oscar M.
Allen and mother Anna C. Thum, 2 sisters Joann Allen
and Marilyn Dowler and brother Richard Allen. He is
survived by his wife, Marguerite (Pegg) Allen, 4
children, Sheri (Kurt) George, and her 4 children
and 1 grandchild, Arizona; Scott (Mona) Allen and 1
son, California; Oscar Allen and 2 daughters and
son-in-law, Circleville; Timothy (Dianna) Allen,
Columbus; step-father, Fred Thum, West Jefferson; 2
brothers, Jerry (Myra) Allen, Arlington, Richard
(Barbie) Allen, Texas; Many nieces and nephews and
great-nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law and
numerous friends. He graduated from Hamilton Twp.
High School and served in the Army and was honorably
discharged. He retired from Columbia Gas, after 37
years service, in June of 1990. Memorial services

SOUTH BEND -- Edward H. Carter, 82, died Saturday in
St. Paul's Retirement Community of natural causes.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Carter of
Portage, Mich., and Susan Carter of Lansing; a son,
Thomas E. of Mishawaka; and two stepdaughters, Wendy
of Indianapolis and Penny of South Bend. There will
be no services or visitation. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger

Thomas Hospital. Mrs. Bloor, a native of New Plymouth, O., was an
Akron resident for 50 years.
She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, the Woman's City
Club and the Akron's women's chapter of the National Aeronautics
Association.
She leaves two daughters, Mrs. June Epperson, Akron, and Mrs. Betty
Raupach, Stow; a sister, Mrs. Ona Carter, Columbus, and three
grandchildren.
Services are being arranged at the Billow Fairlawn chapel. |
