Services for Martin Heiman Allen, 52, of Akron, will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Cook & Son Chapel, where friends may call.  Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery.  Mr. Allen, a member of Moose Lodge No.11 in Columbus, died Thursday in St. Thomas Hospital, Akron.  Surviving are four sons, Thomas, Jack, Robert and James; three daughters, Miss Dorothy Allen, Mrs. Myrtle Nance and Mrs. Cecelia Ross; three brothers, Norman, Stanley and Oscar, all of Columbus; and a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Knapp of Hannaford, Okla.

She was born on June 17, 1928, to Cecilia Sahr and Martin Heiman Allen in Columbus, Ohio.

Curtis Edward Sargent, 39, of Grand View, died Sunday, March 21, 2004, at the VA hospice in Boise.

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 25, at Summers Funeral Homes, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home. Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 24, and on Thursday, March 25, at Summers Funeral Homes, McMurtrey Chapel.

Curtis was born March 17, 1965, in Columbus, Ohio, to Edward Nance and Shirley (Susil) Sargent.
He went to school in Frazeysburg, Ohio and joined the U.S. Air Force on March 19, 1984. Curtis was stationed at several different bases world-wide working for the Air Force as an aircraft jet engine mechanic and logistics management specialist. Curtis served 20 years in the Air Force and Air National Guard, attaining the rank of technical sergeant.

He worked full time for Bennett Cattle Co. of Grand View.

Curtis enjoyed radio-controlled aircraft, music, plastic models and living in Idaho. He was a member of the American Veterans (AmVets).

Curtis is survived by: his daughter Laura Sargent and her fiancee, Thomas Kivlehan, both of Grand View; son Eric Sargent of Adamsville, Ohio; mother Shirley (Susil) Sargent of Grand View; father Edward Nance of Columbus, Ohio; grandfather Joseph Susil of Frazeysburg, Ohio; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Petrella of Columbus, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother and paternal grandfather.

Memorials may be made in Curtis' name to the Grand View Ambulance, or Horizon Hospice of Mountain Home, 1310 American Legion Blvd, Mountain Home, ID 83647, or the VA Hospital, 500 West Fort, Boise, ID 83702.

Martin S. Allen of American Canyon passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010.

He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Nancy Ward.

Martin was born March 25, 1956, in New London, Connecticut and grew up in American Canyon, California.

In 1975, he graduated from Vintage High School and joined the Army. While stationed at Fort Carson he met Mary, the love of his life, and they were married June 17, 1977. During his military career, Martin served two tours in South Korea and one in Germany. He was a sergeant and an MP (military policeman) — an accomplishment he was very proud of. He was honorably discharged from the Army in 1985.

During his life, he worked as a deputy sheriff in Springfield, Missouri, and as security on Mare Island. For 20-plus years, he primarily worked as a millwright for various companies in California.

As a teenager, he was a volunteer firefighter in American Canyon and later as an adult in Dunnegan, Missouri.

He medically retired in 1997. Throughout his life, he lived in many states, including Connecticut, California, Louisiana, Colorado, Maryland and Alabama. He enjoyed spending time with friends reminiscing about his military career and his travels overseas.

Martin is survived by his parents, Jack and Barbara; his brother, Jack Jr.; his sisters, Kimberly, Lynn and Sharon; his wife of 32 years, Mary; his children, Jack and Ranee; and his two grandchildren, Cierra and Alexandra.

Viewing will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, Feb. 15, 2010, at Vaca Hills Chapel, 524 Elmira Road, Vacaville.

Services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, at Vaca Hills Chapel. Pastor Matt Real of American Canyon Baptist Church will officiate.

Committal will be at 12:30 p.m. at Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, Ca 95620.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank all the kind ways that people have expressed their sympathy in the passing of our loved one. We will always remember with grateful appreciation this kindness.

On Thursday, March 15th, Cecilia "Tootie" Arnold, 84, passed away peacefully at St. Andrews Village in Aurora, CO.

She was born in Columbus OH, on 6/18/1933 to Cecilia and Martin Allen. Tootie was 1 of 7 children and is survived by her brother, Jack Allen of California. She is also survived by 4 children, Sherry, Mike, Diane, and Tanya. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Her son Jim preceded her in death in 2010, as did 5 of her 6 siblings, parents, and husband Bob Arnold.

Tootie was a "Jill of all Trades", as an accomplished song writer, business owner, sales woman, and factory worker. She loved all animals and helping others. She had an infectious laugh and a smile that would light up a room. Tootie had lots of friends throughout the years, and her departure leaves the world a little less brighter.

ALLEN
Oscar Roger Allen, born May 15, 1935, died suddenly March 30, 2005. He was preceded in death by his daughter Joanna Marie Allen, father Oscar M. Allen and mother Anna C. Thum, 2 sisters Joann Allen and Marilyn Dowler and brother Richard Allen. He is survived by his wife, Marguerite (Pegg) Allen, 4 children, Sheri (Kurt) George, and her 4 children and 1 grandchild, Arizona; Scott (Mona) Allen and 1 son, California; Oscar Allen and 2 daughters and son-in-law, Circleville; Timothy (Dianna) Allen, Columbus; step-father, Fred Thum, West Jefferson; 2 brothers, Jerry (Myra) Allen, Arlington, Richard (Barbie) Allen, Texas; Many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law and numerous friends. He graduated from Hamilton Twp. High School and served in the Army and was honorably discharged. He retired from Columbia Gas, after 37 years service, in June of 1990. Memorial services will be held at O.R. Woodyard Co., 1346 S. High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43207 on Saturday, April 2, 2005 at 6 p.m.

Natalie JoAnn Allen was born on July 20, 1978 in Columbus, Ohio to Stanley "Dick" Allen and Barbara Lee (Schnarr) Allen.

Natalie never met a stranger. She was a loving person who cared about everyone. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to all who knew her. Natalie had a huge heart and a generous spirit. She was blessed with an extraordinary imagination and had passion for the creative arts and photography. Mostly, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and she was an especially compassionate and devoted caregiver to her dad.
Natalie JoAnn Allen passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 in Katy, Texas at the age of 41.

She is survived by her loving parents, Dick and Barbie Allen of Columbus, Texas; her brother, Matthew Allen of Katy, Texas; her sister, Carrie Allen Coston of Brenham, Texas; her Aunts and Uncles JoAnn and Richard Young, Steven and Charlene Schnarr, Daniel and Debbie Schnarr, and Pegg Allen; numerous cousins, nieces, and a nephew; dear family friends Susan, Casey, Cannon and Charles "Chuck" Smith, Michelle Zimmerman, Rookh and Ervin Heinrich, Alex Roig, JD Bowen and her beloved fur baby, Lizzie.

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
