Margaret Pritt
  Everyone on Ancestry has merged older sister Caroline into her younger sister Margaret.  In many cases, they have Margaret's name as Margaret Caroline Pritt, which is wrong. So many lemmings on this website.

LOOK closely at the 1850 and 1860 Census.  In 1850, Caroline and Margaret are two separate people.  In June 1860, Caroline is still living at home at age 22.  Sister Margaret, is married in April which is why she is not with her parents in the 1860 Census. Margaret is living with her husband David Kelley in 1860.

Nov 4-- Thomas L. Greathouse, 77, retired glassworker, died at the Jay County Hospital, Portland, last night. A native of Buckhannon, W. Va., he had resided here with his daughter, Mrs. Ida Ferrebee of North Main street the past year.

Other survivors include sister, Mrs. Rebecca Black of Buckhannon and two grandchildren. The body was sent to Clarksburg, W. Vs., where funeral services and burial will be Tuesday.

Harold Morris Funeral services were held at Saugus, Saturday afternoon Calif, for Harold "Tiny" Morris, 48, a former. Lancaster resident and well known athlete. His death occurred Wednesday, Aug. 19 at his home in Saugus.

A graduate of Lancaster High School, Class of 1934, he will be remembered as a prominent basketball and football player as well as a track enthusiast. He had been a moldmaker with Anchor Hocking Glass Corp. while living here, and was with Thatcher Glass Manufacturing Company in Saugus.

Survivors include his wife Marjorie, 3 sons Fred, Norman and James of the home, 2 daughters Mrs. Martha Guisinger and Mrs. Nancy Francis of Amanda, Ohio. His parents Mr. and Mrs. Gene Morris, 1 sister Mrs. Virginia Jones, Lynwood, Calif. 1 brother Ray Morris of Saugus, and 4 grand children. Interment took place in San Fernando, Calif.

Nancy Ann (Morris) Wyrick, 69, of Mesa, Ariz., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2006, in Tempe, Ariz.

She was born Aug. 31, 1936, in Lancaster, the daughter of the late Harold and Alice (Shaeffer) Morris.

Nancy loved to write poetry and create ceramics.

She is survived by her loving husband, Herman H. Wyrick of Mesa; four daughters, Rhonda Leaman of Newark, Kimala Francis of Gahanna, Katrina Francis of Lancaster and Crystal Holtz of Apache Junction, Ariz.; two stepdaughters, Valerie Roderick of Waddell, Ariz., and Champagne of Avondale, Ariz.; one son, Doug Francis of Lancaster; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Fred Morris of New Harmony, Utah, Norman Morris of LaGrande, Ore., and Jim Morris of Ophir, Ore.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Gusinger.

A Celebration of Life for Nancy will be at 1 p.m. Sept. 10 at Rising Park in Lancaster. Arrangements were entrusted to Mariposa Gardens Funeral Care, 400 S. Power Road, Mesa, AZ 85206.

Martha Jane Guisinger, 65 of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005, at Sunbridge Care in Lancaster.

She was born June 21, 1939, in Fairfield County and was the daughter of the late Harold and Alice Jane Shaeffer Morris. She was a member of Amanda Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband, Larry A. Guisinger; son, Tony (Amy) Guisinger of Indiana; daughter, Jane A. Guisinger of Lancaster; two grandchildren, Emily and Evan Guisinger of Indiana; one sister, Nancy Ann (Herm) Wyrick of Arizona; three stepbrothers, Fred Morris of Utah, Norm and Jim Morris of Oregon; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Taylor Funeral Home

JONESBORO -- Gary Morris, 58, of Jonesboro, died Sunday at St. Bernards Medical Center.

He had lived in Jonesboro since 1999.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Lewis and Geraldine Nelson Morris.

He is survived by his sons, Brian Morris and Jacob Morris, both of Oklahoma; his daughter, Aimee Morris-Woolsey of Alabama; his brother, Toby Morris of California; his sister, Dana Marie Morris of Arizona; and three grandchildren.

All services will be private.

The marriage of their daughter, Virginia, to Vaughn Jones, son of Isaac Jones, Jr., of 334 Adams street, is being announced by Mr. and Mrs. T. G. Morris, or Dayton, former residents of this city.

Rev. S. R. Martin, pastor, united the two In marriage on Saturday, August 9, In the parsonage of the Coburn Methodist Church. For her marriage the bride selected a street length dress of lush blue velvet, made princess style with white lingerie trim. Accessories of white completed the out fit. Deep red roses and baby bream jormea ner snouiaer [stet] corsage.

Mrs. Louis Perlgo, of Lancaster, acted as the bride's attendant and Howard Deffenbaugh served as Mr. Jones' best man. Guests at the wedding were the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. G. Morris, Louis Perlgo and Mrs. Bernlce Kovaleskl, sister of the bridegroom.

Immediately following the ceremony Mr, and Mrs. Jones were entertained with an informal cocktail party In the Minuet Room of the Hotel Rogge, an affair given by the bride's parents. The young couple is now at home at 952 Greenwood Avenue.

The former Miss Morris graduated from Lash high school in the class of 1939 and she has been employed at the Gorney Beauty shop. Mr. Jones graduated from Lash high school In 1938. He is associated with the Black and Grant Wholesale Co.

Vaughn passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at the age of 90.

He was born in Glouster, Ohio. He met his wife, Evelyn Virginia Morris, in Ohio. After they were married they moved to California.

Vaughn proudly served in WWII as a bomber pilot in the Army Air Force. He was on the Downey Board of Realtors for 45 years. He loved to travel, golf and to watch football. He had a boat at Lake Havasu and liked to go fishing.
He was always the life of the party, enjoying his merlot and tri-tip BBQ. He will be greatly missed.

Vaughn was preceded in death by his wife, Ginny and 10 siblings.

He is survived by his 2 sons and their wives, Terry and Pat Jones, and Denni and April Jones; brother, Dale Jones; granddaughter, Kristen; and Great grandson, Evan.

Services will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 11 am at Whites Funeral Home, 9903 E. Flower St., Bellflower CA. 90706
